To celebrate the beginning of Fall, we are kicking off our first September class with lots of love for fall vegetables! Come and join us on Saturday, September 1st for a fun delicious event- Fall in Love with Fall Veggies. Menu includes:
* Dumpling (both pork and vegetarian)- note that vegetarian dumping is also vegan and gluten free
* Baked mushrooms with mint and garlic- famous Yunnan cuisine, vegan, gluten free, and welcoming the fall.
* Cold sesame noodles w/ peanut sauce- we will be using both wheat and rice noodles, a signature Beijing dish with lots of good fresh ingredients. peanut sauce can be substituted with almond or any nut butter.
* Sweet and sour fish- my personal favorite as a kid. A tofu version can be substituted easily. This dish will make anyone eats three bowls of rice!
* Mung bean soup- for desert, we will make a simple and nutritious mung bean soup. It is served chilled and perfect for the late summer weather.
